Veggie Zucchini Crust Pizza

Use this Veggie Zucchini Crust Pizza recipe to make pizza that is better for you. The zucchini crust is free of gluten and full of tasty vegetables, so its a great way to eat without feeling guilty.

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium zucchinis, grated and squeezed dry
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup sliced red onions
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions:

Turn on your oven and heat it up to 425F 220C

Grated zucchini, almond flour, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper should all be mixed together in a large bowl

Mix until you get a dough

Put parchment paper on a baking sheet and press the zucchini mixture onto it

Make a round pizza crust that is about 1/4 inch thick

The zucchini crust should be baked in a hot oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until it turns golden brown and is firm

Take the pizza crust out of the oven and spread the pizza sauce all over it

Add the mozzarella cheese shreds on top

On top of that, put the sliced bell peppers, red onions, black olives, mushrooms, and cherry tomatoes

It should be baked for another 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the toppings are done the way you like them

When the pizza is done, take it out of the oven and let it cool a bit before adding fresh basil leaves on top

Cut your Veggie Zucchini Crust Pizza into pieces and serve it
