Indulge in the love affair of sweet and salty with this Snickers Popcorn recipe. The caramel-coated popcorn is generously adorned with chopped Snickers, chocolate chips, and roasted peanuts, creating a delightful treat that will surely win hearts.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
  • 1 cup Snickers bars, chopped
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup roasted peanuts
  • Heart-shaped sprinkles optional

Instructions:

After using your favorite method to pop the popcorn kernels, transfer them to a large mixing bowl

Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat and stir in the corn syrup, brown sugar, and salt

Stir constantly until the mixture comes to a boil

Remove from heat after letting the mixture boil for four to five minutes without stirring

Add the vanilla extract and baking soda, stirring until thoroughly mixed

As the mixture bubbles, proceed with caution

After adding the caramel sauce to the popping popcorn, gently toss to coat all sides

After spreading the popcorn onto a baking sheet that has been lined, top with chopped Snickers bars, chocolate chips, and roasted peanuts

For 15-20 minutes, bake the baking sheet at 250F 120C in a preheated oven, stirring every five minutes to ensure even coating

Take it out of the oven and allow it to cool fully

Sprinkles in the shape of hearts are an optional way to add some love

After the popcorn cools, break it into clusters and savor its delicious combination of sweetness and saltiness
