This Slow Cooker Queso Verde dip is smooth and tasty, and its great for getting together with friends and family. When you mix white cheese, green chilies, salsa verde, and cilantro together, you get a deliciously new take on traditional queso.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb white cheese such as Monterey Jack or White American, cubed
- 1 cup milk
- 1 can 4
- 5 oz chopped green chilies
- 1/2 cup salsa verde
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Tortilla chips, for serving
Instructions:
In a slow cooker, combine cubed cheese, milk, chopped green chilies, salsa verde, chopped cilantro, and garlic powder
Cover and cook on low for 1-2 hours, stirring occasionally, until the cheese is melted and the mixture is smooth
Once fully melted, reduce heat to warm and serve directly from the slow cooker with tortilla chips
