Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground venison
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 1/4 cup diced mushrooms
- 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 square burger buns
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Pickles
- Ketchup and mustard for topping
Instructions:
Put ground venison, diced onions, diced mushrooms, grated cheddar cheese, bread crumbs, egg, salt, and black pepper in a bowl
Make square patties out of each of the four equal parts of the mixture
Warm up a pan or grill on the stove over medium-high heat
Put the deer meat patties on the grill or pan and cook them for four to five minutes on each side, or until theyre done the way you like them
Add a slice of cheddar cheese to top of each patty in the last minute of cooking and let it melt
Grill or toast the square burger buns in a toaster until they are just barely browned
Put a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun of each burger, then a venison patty with melted cheese, tomato slices, and pickles
Spread mustard and ketchup on the top bun, then put it on top of the other ingredients to finish the burger
