Ingredients:
- 2 lbs ground pork
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Natural hog casings, soaked in water
Instructions:
Ground pork, breadcrumbs, BBQ sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt should all be mixed together in a large bowl
Thoroughly mix the ingredients together until they are well blended
Soak the hog casings in water for at least 30 minutes and rinse them under cold water
Connect a sausage stuffer to a sausage stuffing tube
Then, leave a 6-inch overhang as you feed the casing onto the tube
Put the sausage mix into the casings and twist them into 6-inch links as you go
Put the stuffed sausages in the fridge for at least an hour to let the flavors mix
Warm up your grill over medium-high heat
Turn the sausages over every once in a while while grilling them for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160F 71C
Serve the BBQ sausages you made yourself while they are still hot from the grill
