This Spicy Red Pepper Burger is a tasty new take on an old favorite. The spicy red pepper ketchup gives the juicy beef patty a cool kick. This makes for a tasty and filling meal.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • Lettuce and tomato slices for garnish
  • 1/2 cup Red Pepper Ketchup

Instructions:

Put the breadcrumbs, red onion, red bell pepper, egg, salt, and pepper in a bowl

Then add the ground beef

Combine well

Split the mixture in half and shape each half into a burger patty

Warm up your grill or pan on the stove by setting it on medium-high heat

The burger patties should be cooked for four to five minutes on each side, or until theyre done the way you like them

In the last minute of cooking, cover each patty with a piece of cheddar cheese and place it on top

This will melt the cheese

You can grill or toast the burger buns until they are just barely browned

Spread Red Pepper Ketchup on the bottom bun of each burger

Then, put the cooked patty on top of the ketchup-covered bun

Top with lettuce and tomato slices

Put the top bun on top, and your Spicy Red Pepper Burger is ready to eat
